Park Policies and Rules
All guests staying at the White lodge must comply with the following rules. They are necessary in order to maintain high standards and to assist in the proper management of the site. Entry by you onto the park shall be treated as your acceptance of these policies and rules.
Speed Limit – We operate a strict 5mph speed limit around the whole site.
Noise Policy - We appreciate that all of our guests are on holiday and want to have a good time; however, we feel that it is important that other guests are not disturbed by excessive noise. We therefore ask you to make sure no excessive noise after 2100 and no noise after 2300. Please respect all people staying on the site.
Pet Policy - We firmly believe that four-legged friends should be treated as part of the family, and we are very pet-friendly, however, we do ask that dogs are kept on a lead at all times, and any fouling is cleared immediately. Dogs must be supervised at all times and not be left unattended. We do ask that you try and make sure barking is at a minimum and that your neighbours are respected.
Barrier – The security barrier is in place to protect your property and maintain safety around the site. When the barrier is open, do not walk underneath this, and don’t allow access to any other guests or visitors. During quiet time the barrier is locked between 22.30-07.00. If arriving or leaving the site between these times, you can park in the car park located near reception.
Barrier tag/code – Not to be passed to others or used by anyone else (or used to let others on/off site).
Car per pitch – We operate one car maximum per pitch, all visitors must book in and park in the car park. We ask the ten front hardstanding pitches to park in the parking area near the horse field to keep the roadway clear at all times.
Toilets/showers – Please do not dispose of sanctuary items and wipes down the toilet. Make sure children under 14 are supervised. Toilets are checked frequently, if they require an additional check, please notify reception.
Playarea – Children are to be supervised at all times while playing on the play equipment on site. Under 12’s only on the playarea. No more than three children on the trampoline. No bikes/scooters allowed within the fenced area.
No Ball Games, Toys or Bikes near other people’s Cars, Caravans, Tents or Motorhomes.
Firepits and disposable BBQ’s – They must be lifted off the ground at all times. Wood is available at reception (£5)
Grass – Please keep Vehicles off the grass when it is soft or wet. Only park cars on hardstanding areas or car parks.
Pitch requirements – Only one unit allowed, additional charges may apply for tents and gazebo’s.
Insurance and Security – Please ensure your caravan is fully secured and insured against all risks. We do not accept responsibility for any losses that incur, however caused, whilst your caravan is on The White Lodge site.
Visitors – Are allowed access to the site but must be pre booked in with reception & charges apply.(£2.50 PP/Perday)
Commercial vehicles and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.
CCTV is in operation for your safety. This does also cover the park area.
Flooding - We are located by a river and during storms and heavy rain we do pose a risk of flooding. Please review the notice board (located by front barrier) to understand the current risk. You will be informed with notice if the site requires evacuation. We do have flood sensor and measuring gauges around the site and constantly monitor river levels.
If we consider anyone is found to be in breach of our rules, or affecting families staying at The white lodge by their behaviour, we will have no hesitation in asking them to leave the park. No refund will be issued.
